For those of us who are suffering from Farmer’s Market Withdrawal, help is on its way. Saturday November 19, 2011 marks the first day of the Winter Farmer’s Market at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds, a continuation of the Newport Saturday market. Local growers and food producers of all kinds will be represented providing high quality fresh products.
If you're a visitor to the area and want to check out the Market, click on this map to get your bearings on where the Fairgrounds are located. Surprisingly, you won't find it labeled on Google Maps, the Market website, or even the County website!
In addition, bakers, artisans and craft people will all be in attendance showing their very best efforts. This could be a great place to begin your holiday shopping! Hours are 10 AM to 2 PM in the main exhibit hall at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds.
