The Met comes to Newport again with a stellar performance. Tony Award® winner Bartlett Sher (South Pacific) directs this new production. The opera is Offenbach’s fictionalized take on the life and loves of the German Romantic writer E.T.A. Hoffmann — a fascinating psychological journey.
